Our beautiful shepherd's hut sits in four acres of secluded woodland in rural Hexhamshire. Enjoy the peaceful solitude, with glimpsed views through the mature oaks onto the North Pennines. 'Muggans' (named after the Mugwort that grows by the steps) is entirely off-grid and has everything you'll need for a comfortable and memorable getaway, including a wood burning stove to keep you cozy, a wood fired hot tub to soak in under the stars and pizza oven for luxury campfire cooking.

Ethel’s Coorie Doon is a self-contained shepherd’s hut nestled within the grounds of Craig Villa Guest House. Fully insulated, fully equipped, and boasts mountain views. Ethel's Coorie Doon is perfect for couples and solo adventurers who want to explore the local area. We welcome up to 2 furry friends, but please note, there is a pet fee of £14. We provide information for local walks and hidden gems, local restaurants and pubs. We provide free parking and storage if you arrive by bike.

The Peerie Neuk is a sustainably built tiny eco home with all the comforts of a cosy house just a bit tinier! There is a double bed and fold out sofa, suitable for one adult or two children. There’s is a small kitchen with hob, kettle and little fridge (large enough for two bottles of prosecco 🤣). There is a wood burning stove with oven. The oven will keep things warm. There’s on demand hot water, shower and compost toilet.

Welcome to SHEP – your cosy shepherd’s hut on a vintage military lorry, nestled along an old railway line on our family farm in the Scottish Borders. Snuggle up by the wood-burning stove in winter or throw open the French doors for a summer BBQ. Ideal for couples, families or solo stays.
