The Key House is minutes from downtown Goldthwaite, close to all the area attractions. There are historical sites, wineries and hunting nearby. It is close to the Regency "Swinging" Suspension Bridge over the Colorado River. This renovated cottage style home offers one cozy bedroom and one bathroom with tub/shower combo. Lometa is a short 5-minute drive for restaurants, gas, and groceries. Our outside space sets us apart! Relax under the oak trees to read or take in the 180-degree views of the countryside from our hilltop. Watch livestock mill about on the horizon as you lounge the day away lazily under the trees.

Welcome to our family’s Lake Buchanan waterfront cottage in a small, safe and secluded neighborhood at the end of the road. If you’re looking for quietness, serenity and relaxation, this is the place. 1.5 hour drive from central Austin. Walk right into the water from the back yard - bring your kayaks! Sit on the porch and watch the wildlife - bring your camera. Neighborhood is great for walking or cycling. Since 1972, family memories have been made here.
