A freestanding cottage surrounded by farm animals. 3 excitable farm dogs, 3 goats, two pigs, a 100 pound tortoise, geese, ducks, chickens, roosters, rabbits , quails, parakeets, cats, you name it, it lives here... This beautiful country home has been recently updated. Our property is tucked away at the top of a .7 mile private road, on a 10 acre farm, with amazing views of the valley, hills, city, & breathtaking sunset right from the living room/ kitchen. We are about 15 minutes away from town, so definitely not in the city. Our quaint country home is located on the Placer county wine/ ale trail, near wineries and breweries, 2 miles to Hidden Falls, and close to many of California’s best hiking trails

The Amador Farmhouse

The Farmhouse built in the late 1800’s offers three updated remodeled bedrooms each with their own private bathrooms/showers. Relax, enjoy and wash the city away in our lovely vintage claw tubs. Slip into the covers of your luxurious King and Queen size beds with fine linens. Enjoy a cozy pull out couch in the living room. Wrap around porch offers stunning vineyard/sunset views. Life is better on the farm.

The Camp - private farmstay glamping

Step out of the crazy, busy world onto a forty acre permaculture farm. Relax in Two small cabins with cozy cotton sheets, down comforter queen bed, heater with a wood burning shepherds stove. Off grid Power and high speed internet. Next to the cabin a separate building with kitchen and shower. BBQ and fire pit . Bring your own wood for the fire pit. Outdoor bathroom. Small frig . I allow dogs in this space, their own bedding required. Trails to creek, stars in a dark sky.

Charming Farmhouse at Stemple Creek Ranch

This cozy farmhouse (called the Schoolhouse) at Stemple Creek Ranch in West Marin is not to be missed. It is a few miles from the ocean and boasts two bedrooms, a private garden and covered patio, and views of the countryside that stretch for miles. We also have three other houses on site for larger groups (Cottage for 2 is "Rustic Studio Cottage" and Cabin for 4 is "Rustic Cabin " and Farmhouse for 10 is "Zia's Farmhouse").
