We are very lucky to have this award winning restaurant in our village. The food, drinks and coffee are delicious, very friendly owners/staff, and the location is gorgeous.... and it's within a ten minute walk!

There are OS maps in the cabin, and I can lend you walking books, and give suggestions on suitable walks when you arrive.

There are OS maps in the cabin, and I can lend you walking books, and give suggestions on suitable walks when you arrive.
Dartington Hall has impressive gardens whatever time of year you visit, but Spring and Autumn are particularly beautiful. You can also take a longer walk around the Deer Park, along the river. Finishing up at The Green Table or The White Hart for lunch or dinner.

This a lovely National Trust place just as you enter Dartmoor, perfect if you can't decide where to start on the Moors! There is parking, lovely cafe and a circular walks which are easily accessible.
