Closest small town to the Haystore is Ross on Wye with the excellent Kings Head or Tweet for cocktails and fizz, or for stunning views try the Royal Oak hotel or the Man of Ross that sometimes offers live music. Hereford is a 20min taxi ride away and offers some clubs and bars (Trilogy, Cosy Club, Rubix).
