For renting tubes to float the river or guided white water rafting, Pagosa Outside is the place to go. If you tube the river, rent the tubes here, and you can ride the shuttle back up to the put in point as many times as you want (adhere to the time slots Pagosa Outside provides).

Ride the famous scenic train ride from Durango to Silverton. You can choose to go there and back in one day, or stay overnight in Silverton. Amazingly beautiful!
Note: Durango is a one hour drive west of Pagosa.
