It's a gourmet market, where you can buy high quality produce and try a variety of edible insects and exotic meat. I wouldn't miss visiting this market. It's one of the most iconic ones in Mexico City.
They have some booths where you can eat tapas or baguettes with imported hams and cheeses (they will serve you wine for free).
They also have a Peruvian food stand (from the main entrance to the left, all the way to the end, they you go right). It's amazing and not that expensive.
There are also other cheaper options around that area of the market. Good coffee too.
