The Brooklyn Heights promenade is one of my favorite places in all of NY, and there are many beautiful, cobble stone streets and small shops throughout Brooklyn Heights. It's like a mini-Paris in NY :)

DUMBO is a different vibe altogether- still fancy, but more urban/artistic and looks like it could be straight out of some cavernous mid-western city- huge converted warehouses, small art galleries, little cafes, bars, and a few taco shops. It's really growing but still a bit of a hidden gem in NY.

My favorite! Their beef & chicken is organic, grass-fed, antibiotic-free meat. They also have falafel, schwarma, hummus, babaganoush, etc. It's _VERY_ casual (you order at the counter & sit upstairs), but by far the best quality burger I’ve had (compared to ones 2-3x the price!) and cheap! Just know it is _not_ fancy :)
