Full size polar expedition ship on exhibition. Voted museum of the year on trip advisor. You can take a boat back the harbor or get there by boat from the center. Or take the 30 bus from Skøyen a few stops. Or walk from the flat ;-) Kids love this as well.

One of my favorites, even if it is a bit expensive. They have excellent sea food and is situated on the fortress overlooking the harbour.

This "foodhall" has excellent selection of various food and is very lively. It is next to the river and Grunerløkka, the trendy part of town. You can reach it by taking the 13 Tram from Skøyen. Also, the "longest" bar in Norway is in the basement. And one of the most trendy and fun bars/clubs are near, Blå.
