Waterfront trail that is smooth, paved, dog-friendly and goes along the waterfront of Eureka. Perfect for a peaceful walk, bird watching, et cetera. Not recommended after dark or to go alone, typically, as there are some "less savory" folks at times, but I go almost every day and feel okay there.
