Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co. is all about the laid back artisan-vibe that pairs comfort food with fresh, healthy alternative ingredients. Think local organic options and gluten free rice and quinoa options. We would recommend either the Fig & Brie pizza or the Naturally Meaty.

The Iron Goat Pub & Restaurant has got it all: amazing views, great food and one of the best patios in the Bow Valley! It’s a local favourite and serves up an impressive menu that includes homemade wood fired pizzas. But our personal recommendations are the Minted Melon & Feta Salad or the Kobe Oscar Burger (Kobe beef burger topped with lobster and blue crab

The Grizzly Paw has a fantastic view of Canmore’s famous Three Sisters mountain range and even better micro-brewed handcrafted beer on tap. They also produce 6 unique flavours of soda, including Cherry Cola, Root Beer, and Grapefruit Orange. They also offer brewery tours if you want to dive behind the scenes.

Ha Ling Peak is a small summit with steep ascent - great for those looking for a challenge and a good hike to get into summits. Great views up top and because it's a popular hike, it’s good for those that want to try solo hiking. The hike is 8 Km round trip, season Mid-May to October once the snow line has retreated

This is one of the most popular hikes in Canmore ending at twin turquoise lakes. Elevation gain is mild approx. 250 meters and the round trip is around 3.8 Km. The trail splits shortly from the start, for the easier trail keep to the right as it follows along an old access road through the forest. To the left is the more difficult option, which climbs through the forest topping out with a view of Canmore and a waterfall, both trails then meet up and continue on to the lakes. For the adventurous one can scramble above the lakes to find a collection of aboriginal pictographs. DO NOT touch the pictographs, as the oil from your hands will wear them away.
