My all-time favorite, OG Honky Tonky on Broadway. Get there early and see the old-timers two stepping and have space to grab a seat at the bar. Later at night, the place fills up and there is always a fabulous band. Oh, and fried Bologna sandwiches if you want to really fit in.

Parks & Nature
Just a beautiful, large, laid back park where all the locals go to: run, bike (greenway goes for miles across the city), walk, see some deer, find a turtle, sit in the grass and relax, see the river, let the kids run around and play in dirt and on playgrounds, and check out the nature center for some local creatures. Also in the park is a fishing pond, baseball fields, putting green, picnic tables, and summer farmers markets.
