Beautiful secluded beach, short walk.
After a long trek from the Macquarie River John Oxley and his party were relieved to see the sea. He wrote in his diary that he walked onto the beach "with joy and satisfaction", so it is aptly named Oxley Beach.

Flynns Book Cafe
Patrolled beach with cafe and surf club. Short walk.
Situated across the road from my apartment. Can be accessed via a steep walking track. Whilst the main road runs on the 30-40 m high bluffs behind the beach the only access is via a steep walking track. This little used beach is suitable for a walk but not for swimming.
