Stanwell House is a boutique hotel which has recently undergone a major refurbishment. It is beautifully decorated and the staff are very welcoming. Food is excellent whether you are eating in the Samphire restaurant, the Salt bar or having afternoon tea.

Well worth a trip on the ferry to the IOW either by car or bicycle. Lots to see and do including the Cowes, the Garlic Farm, Alpacas, Osborne House and lovely beaches.

A great local history museum, a highly regarded art gallery which hosts different exhibitions during the year and also is a tourist information centre. The Old School Cafe is also worth a visit.

This lovely sandy beach has everything including the Noisy Lobster restaurant, Coffee cabin, bakery, fish and chips takeaway kiosk and shop. During peak season we recommend you park in the Avon Run Road car park. Mudeford Spit is worth a visit via the foot passenger ferry.
