Our favorite place to go on a sunny day is Restaurant Skovmøllen, which is located in the scenic forests of Aarhus in an old water mill from the early 19th century. We enjoy going there for coffee and cake in the weekends, followed by a walk into the forest and down to the sea nearby. The restaurant also serves praised gourmet food in the evening.

Aarhus has a large and diverse harbour environment. Experience, for example, the raw and maritime atmosphere with workers and cranes loading loads of cargo ships in the country's largest container port. Stop off at the Aarhus Ø district, and see Isbjerget (the iceberg building), which stands side by side with modern architecture, or stroll about the harbor square and experience Endless Connection (water art).
