More upscale...amazing view on the beach....great food, can share a lot on the menu as they can be quite large. Faves are octopus, beef on lava rocks and salads, tuna tower. Delicious and the evening atmosphere is romantic and dreamy with trees lit up etc.

Perfect setting on the beach, amazing food and great sunset and dinner atmosphere! It's the place to be. Food is fresh and good seafood. Live music often and nice bar/mingling atmosphere with locals and tourists alike. Great happy hour and sunset spot. Have to check it out.

Where all the locals hang out and eat great food and say hello at happy hour! Fantastic menu with the best sandwiches and sliders to die for, people come from all over. Very reasonable and fun! Play ping pong, foosball, darts, pool. Very relaxed atmosphere where all the neighborhood surfers come. Check it out! It's a hidden gem just up the road from the beach.

The most amazing indian food ever and I've been to India and had many dishes in other parts of the world as well and this is top. Maybe my fave overall of all the restaurants. Try the Kormas and curries. Everything is amazing.

I'm adding the restaurant here...It's amazing and most of the food is grown in their farm nearby. My fave are the cocktails, and on the menu, particularly the best seafood linguini...the best always. Great service.

Wonderful Mediterranean food and one of the only places with lamb on the menu plus delicious. The Pandeli for breakfast or lunch is also amazing, again with the lamb, my favourite.

Beautiful restaurant, wonderful menu, favourites are steak pasta and the shrimp risotto, usually consistent. Good wines and has wine cellar but just check your bill and get the wine menu to choose from to be sure. otherwise, also has the best decent pool table. Beautiful bar up top as well and wine is temperature controlled.

One of the top restaurants in Tamarindo! A must and great service too. Everything on the menu is amazing. The favourites are of course tuna steak and the steak itself. Everything is fantastic. cocktails are fabulous and reservations are a must in high season.

Great vibe and wonderful atmosphere, also good food! Drinks at the beach is fabulous and they may also have the lounge chairs by the beach too if you order drinks I believe. You can also rent a cabana by the pool I think. Good service and a good lazy day spent by the beach.

The restaurant called Oveja Negra is a great place for lunch and maybe dinner. Lunch is better but evening drinks where there's live music is a center of attention, especially when you catch Max playing acoustic guitar and singing popular songs. He's a favourite of the town. The lunch is really good. Everything on the menu will be wonderful.

Lunch is better but evening drinks where there's live music is a center of attention, especially when you catch Max playing acoustic guitar and singing popular songs. He's a favourite of the town. The lunch is really good. Everything on the menu will be wonderful.
