Food Scene

As a provincial town, there isn't really much by way of specialist dining in Nasugbu, but El Cocinero is a real exception. Famed locally for his paella dishes, which the restaurant will prepare in advance for collection if you prefer. Call 0920 295 4612. Chef Arnaldo spent many years in Mallorca, Spain before returning to set up this place. It has been so successful he now has a second branch in Tagaytay. Tell him we sent you!

An essential Tali Beach tradition! Not for the faint hearted, but something you will never forget. The faint hearted can have fun too, watching the brave and foolhardy! The cliff site also has a lovely garden, ideal for cocktails as you watch the sunset over Twin Islands.

Parks & Nature

One of the more popular beaches in Tali, it's a 10 minute walk or a 2 minute drive from Largybeg. We recommend parking at the top and walking the 20m to the beach to avoid your car getting stuck. There is a lovely coral reef about 40m offshore for snorkelers.

Aptly named, as this is where the action is! With a beach volley ball court and cabanas, a floating platform in the sea (excluding rainy season), this is where the young and young at heart congregate. 5 minute walk from Largybeg.

The perfect, secluded spot to watch the sun go down. Always quiet. Not a swimming beach as the water is shallow with lots of coral, though there is a private floating jetty that allows you to walk out to where the water is deeper should you feel the need for a dip. 3 minute car ride from Largybeg. Or you can walk it in about 15 minutes.

Very secluded, ideal for those looking for some peace and quiet. Smaller than the other beaches in Tali, so less well suited to large groups. There is a shallow coral reef in front, so swimming is more limited than at Marina or Main Beaches

Steep steps lead down to the secluded Sunset Beach. Another great place for sundowners. The beach is protected by a coral reef so the sea is generally calm. You can comfortably take a dip in the water, but it isn't really a swimming beach.
