My favorite sandwich shop in PB. It flaunts the stoner side of life, so don't feel awkward asking for a "blunt" instead of a large :)

Arguably THE best burger shop in San Diego. Bring it up with the locals and hear everyone rave about it. The best part is that it's in walking distance! Cash only.

This is where we go for a wild night without having to go downtown San Diego. Country music is played for the first part of the night before it switches to traditional club music. Dance your heart out and then play cornhole, jenga, and other games in their front patio.

The newest bar in PB. Come early, and prepare to stand in a line to get in. Well worth the wait, though! Like many PB bars and clubs, Mavericks features an outdoor section with games.

One of my favorite places to go for a day time drink or brunch. The menu is great, as well as having a friendly vibe that also transfers into the nighttime.

San Diego is known for it's breweries, but forget about Ballast Point and look into more local favorites! Modern Times has a great selection, and is one of my favorite breweries. Be sure to check out the massive Michael Jackson mural and the hundreds of books stacked throughout the room!

Arts & Culture
A village sized museum! I always try to take family and friends here on their first visit to San Diego. Time seems to have frozen still in this walkable village, and aims to showcase what life was like in San Diego through the 1800's. The original school house and a beautiful home are still standing, as well as many other recreations of different stores. Stop into Casa de Reyes for excellent margaritas and beautiful colors of the traditional Mexican culture.
