I'm a coffee snob and so are my friends. This might be the best coffee in San Francisco. Other people will tell you to go to Ritual but it's only because they haven't been here yet.

Now called "Bernal Star" this is a great brunch spot with a sunny back patio and heat lamps when it's not so sunny. Inside is nice too. Off brunch they are specializing in high quality burgers.

The best beer garden in the city. It may not look like much from the outside but wind your way to the back and take the stairs down to the garden and you will be in another world.

This is my favorite bar in the city. They've got an organ player and a huge vinyl collection but somehow the hipsters don't know about it yet. There's a hidden back patio too. No TV and Cash Only.
