Best in Marfa as of Summer 2017. The original Maiya's location is now home to some of the best Mediterranean comfort food. Get there early and be ready to be social. The horseshoe service bar creates a lively atmosphere to chat, drink and eat.

Ok. I'm a Texas. 5th generation Texan. My family is from south Texas along the border. I know TexMex and Mexican food. Do yourself the favor and make sure to spend a breakfast or lunch at Marfa Burrito. Ramona is as sweet, authentic and passionate about her craft as they come. Dare I say, "Best burritos in the world." I just did.

The movie Giant...James Dean, Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton...that's right they all stayed here at the Paisano Hotel and I like to dream that they all ate at Jett's on the patio in the evening. Best place to relax in the evening after a day of West Texas. Great menu, great bar and great comfort. And you never know who might show up.

Think Whole Foods of Marfa. If you have to have gluten free blah de blah or a particular olive oil or fresh organic avocados or just about anything else your chances of finding it in this compact, neighborhood market are very good. Certainly better than finding anywhere else within 300 miles.
