Parks & Nature
This arboretum has a 3-mile loop of mostly paved walking trail around a subsection of Putah Creek that has different parts along the trail dedicated to flora from around the world. I'd suggest parking in Davis Commons parking lot and starting on the trail from there. Redwoods section is my personal favorite!

There are two "Putah Creek parking lots" on either end-- you can start on the one opposite of the Reserve (off Levee Rd) to have an easy hiking path along Putah Creek towards the other end. My favorite spot along the creek is nearest the lot by the Reserve entrance, though. Feel free to take a dip in creek! The creek is usually very shallow and not too cold.
