Food Scene
Great Libanese/Japanese fusion restaurant, loved by the foodies and a true local spot.
All this just two steps from the appartment!
The owners are adorables and working hard to serve you local and quality lunches.
You can also grab a cappucino and witness them cooking or their daughter sketching ;), they always have nice blends.
Careful they are closed on the week end and catering special events only for dinner.

Parks & Nature
It's our Parisian High line.
This old aerian train track got rehabilitated and you can take it all the way from Bastille to Bois de Vincenne.
It offers a high up point of view on the 12th arrondissement, walking around the trees on a sunny day is a really pleasant thing to do, especially with kids.
If you want to go for a morning jog, go early, it gets quite packed on the week end and slaloming in between people is never fun.
Plus: Go up to Jardin de Reuilly to try the free sparkling water fountain on display!

Go there for a pique-nique, bring a blanket, read a book and sun tan!
You can grab a coffee & a chocolate croissant to go at the Chocolaterie Cyril Lygnac across the entrance. Or even better a creamy hot chocolate!
FYI : Avoid week ends and late afternoon if you want a relaxing time, or you'll get a lot of kids running around action.
Which is also fun to witness sometimes, an entertainement in itself!
