Trip Advisor: 4.5/5 (80 reviews)
ABOUT THIS WINERY:
Cave Spring stands at the centre
of charming Jordan Village. The
Pennachetti family grasped the
potential of the Beamsville
Bench in the mid-‘70s. Today
their wines beautifully capture
the terroir of this prime sub-
appellation. Nine iterations of
Riesling by winemaker Angelo
Pavan are exemplary.
Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and
Cabernet Franc also shine. Enjoy
regional cuisine and lodging at
Inn On the Twenty.

ABOUT THIS WINERY:
Since opening in 2005, Ed
Madronich has injected fun and
enthusiasm into both the wine
and the winery experience. The
five-level gravity-fed winery sits
atop the escarpment with an
incredible 360° view of vineyards
and Lake Ontario. Chardonnay
and Pinot Noir, made by Jay
Johnston, are the winery’s focus
but the Rieslings are consistently
recognized among Canada’s
best.

ABOUT THIS WINERY:
Founded in 1988 by the Speck
family, Henry of Pelham is a
reliable name in Ontario wine.
Brothers Paul, Matthew and
Daniel Speck play up their
“sibling rivalry” in popular white
and red blends by the same
name, but the portfolio runs
much deeper with the iconic
Baco Noir, Rieslings (from
maturing vines), Chardonnays,
Cuvée Catharine bubbly and
brilliant Icewines all crafted by
Sandrine Bourcier.
