Not only does this place a cute country vibe and good coffee, but it has possibly the best pies and quiche in Brooklyn and possibly in all of NYC.

This is my favorite place in the neighborhood to come for lunch, brunch or dinner especially when I'm alone. Seating for a larger group tends to have long waits but for individuals there is almost always a seat available at the bar. It's definitely worth the 5 minute taxi/bike ride or the 20 minute walk. Walk or ride through McCarren park to get there. The restaurant is on the North West corner of the park. The Moroccan scramble is my favorite.

Even though Michael Tisch has been reported to invest in Roberta's, the place continues to be one of my favorite places to come for dinner and/or drinks. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Their specialty is pizza and they DELIVER which is an enormous bonus when you want to treat yourself after a long work day or on a cold winter day.
