Fabulous! I have a degree in Fine Arts so I have seen many museums all over the world. This one is one of my favorites!! The Girard collection and display (by Girard himself) is worth about an hour of your time.
The Girard Wing at the Museum of International Folk Art. Alexander Girard was a designer [for Herman Miller]. He collected figurines and created scenes of what life might have looked like in the ’50s. Everything is tiny and super cute and fun. 706 Camino Lejo, SF

Two great road trips I would recommend
ONE - full day to Taos via the back road through Nambe and Chimayo (stop at Santuario and Rancho de Chimayo for lunch) and
TWO - south down the Turquoise Trail to Madrid...but stop in the dusty western town of Cerrillos on the way.
Best to spend the night in Taos and stay at the Mabel Dodge Luhan house (make reservations now) and then drive back to Santa Fe on the regular route and stop in Espanola for lunch at Para Aqua -- best tacos anywhere: )
