It is the done thing when coming to Katoomba. If you are able to walk 10 minutes park in Lurkine st before the lookout where you won’t have to pay parking

Many spectacular walks for all levels. Bring your walking shoes, warm clothes and water bottle. Let someone know where you are going and that you arrived back safely as people getting lost in the wilderness is real in the vast National Park. Check out the book in The Shed that describes the walks. My favourites are The Ruined Castle, Grand Canyon and Valley of the Waters
