It is a 43-meter-high waterfall, one of the most beautiful of the Leventina Valley. Here you can take different walks or take a break, bathing in the waterfall and having a picnic in the equipped areas. There is a car parking and also a quite big playground for kids. Dogs are welcome if on a leash.

The Ritom lake, with its 1.49 km2, is the largest mountain lake in the Canton of Ticino. In the 2009, an educational trail was created on the right side of the lake, leading young and old people to discover the special features of this fantastic region.

It is an historical route, just renewed and restored. If you want to discover it, the starting point is the Locanda Dazio Grande in Prato Leventina. If you have just a little time, you can follow the path downhill to the side of the street, to get in a few minutes to the gorge.

For more than 40 years, the Botteghe del Mondo (BdM) association has brought together the 11 World Shops in Italian-speaking Switzerland, established Fair Trade specialists. Run by about 300 volunteer staff, they sell high-quality handicrafts and food products from Asia, Africa and Latin America.

A church located on a cliff with a breath-taking view over the Leventina Valley. It takes about 20 minutes to reach it. You have to go in the center of Faido, and then follow the main road (not the highway); when you see the “Calonico” cartel, turn left, go up and follow the Calonico directions.

It is a small green paradise surrounded by forests and beautiful waterfalls. You can go there following the walking route Faido – Dalpe or you can take the panoramic cable car Faido - Pianaselva, which allow you to reach Pianaselva (1’100m) in about 5 minutes.
The departure station is located in Faido (711m) and the service is available from May to October. Usually from 8:00 to 20:00, but please check schedules because they change from month to month (daily, weekends, holidays).
