Take the Seattle Monorail from the Westlake Center building (400 Pine Street, 3rd Floor) to Seattle Center. It is the most fun way to visit the Space Needle IMO. The Space Needle entrance is a few yards from the monorail station.

One of the most popular swimming beaches in Seattle, Madison Beach has a grassy area where sunbathers can relax and enjoy a stunning view of Lake Washington. It is the closest beach to Capitol Hill. A very popular spot for locals -- it is where Capitol Hill peeps go for sunbathing and swimming. If you go, please try Independent Pizzeria. It is one of my favorite pizza places in Seattle.
