We love this restaurant because it's a little off the beaten path and features an absolutely gorgeous view of the Sound and the Olympic Mountains. Summer is a great time to visit - they have a lovely patio and the food is always superb, it's been run by the same Italian family for years. They take reservations for parties 6 or larger. Get there early if you want to snag a spot on the patio, it gets pretty busy on the weekends. You should have no trouble on the weekdays however. The average entree is around $16, not too pricey.

Just THE BEST pastries. Once you take your first bite, it's pretty self-explanatory. Situated in a quaint neighborhood just on the other side of Lincoln Park. Could be reached with a delightful 30 minute walk that cuts through the park.

This park is just a five minute walk away! And it's simply gorgeous. The bottom of the park features a gorgeous walk along the beach, the top section is a wooded wonderland with beautiful trails great for walking or running.

Gorgeous park with beautiful trails that are lined by beautiful plants and shrubbery. It's a free botanical garden which is pretty rare, and really a stunning place to walk around.

If you come to Seattle in the summer, you'd be wrong not to cool off in Lake Washington at some point! Gorgeous views and crystal clear water await you! While we think this is a nice beach, the whole coast is scattered with spots to take a dip.
