Puglia has a lunch special 7 days a week between 11:30-3pm unless it's a holiday in LIttle Italy or summer. This special can't be beat for price or quality.
This is my favorite Italian-American restaurant. Be sure to order a bottle of the house red. They make the blend themselves and currently it's only $16 per bottle.
This is a casual Mexican place that is good for some quick fresh tacos. It's part of a small chain of Oaxaca locations around NYC. Nice tile walls, convenient and fresh food.

This place is incredibly close to our house. Lively (and a little loud) it plays all the soccer matches and the food is good. The happy hour specials include really good food price deals.
