Shopping
Plaza Norte is one of the biggest Shopping centers in Lima. You will find banks, retail clothing stores and a big variety of restaurants
It has everything you can imagine
From clothing, electronics, restaurants, bars, movie theater
A must go if you are in the area!
We highly recommend to do all your banking here. It is a mall that has a lot of transit and a big number of security staff members. In addition, there are taxis inside the mall that are registered.
The mall is fenced and sometimes, you may find it hectic regardless of the time you go. There is always something going on. Every weekend on that mall looks like a Christmas shopping time :)

Taxi services
One of the safest ways to get around Lima is using UBER. Enter the following address Stella Maris 2235. On the Uber app, it will be displayed as Cercado de Lima, which could look confusing but the address should take you to San Martin de Porres District.
If you decide to hail a taxi, It is customary to agree to a price before getting inside the vehicle and there is always an opportunity to negotiate. Also, make sure to sit at the back of the vehicle. Taxis only work with cash, so consider having soles with you in the small denomination (S/.10 and S/. 20 soles bills).
