One word bombolone. Get yourself a custard or Nutella filled Italian doughnut you'll have no regrets. Gelato is really awesome too. There is extra space upstairs to sit and yummy up the pasteries.

Gritty, urban with a sort of an old hippy vibe. The small cluttered streets are filled with everything from little cafes, old European fruit and food markets to some of the funkiest retro clothes.

This is one of Toronto's hot spots, the place is tiny but so very stunning. Inspired by Gaudi, it has been called the most beautiful bar in Toronto and I have to agree, it is all that. Food is also highly rated, snacky tapas style... you won't be disappointed. Very busy and just up the from our house.
