Food Scene
Because the New Yorker in me is saying this is the best pizza restaurant in town. They have takeout too! With a wide variety of options on both pizza, beer and wine, this is a place you want to visit. My favorites: Bacon Mash Potato (I swap bacon for chicken) | Butternut Squash, Ricotta and Cranberries | Buffalo Cauliflower | Chicken Basil (my all-time favorite).

Because it offers local brick oven pizza, the second largest selection of "beer on tap" in the state of Maine, indoor arcade, seasonal outdoor seating, and most of all... its within walking distance from the house!

Parks & Nature
This 8-mile long trail, from Saco to Scarborough and provides a fantastic scenic view the area has to offer. It is dog-friendly, for leashed dogs and you're not frowned upon if you let your well-behaved dog off the leash as I do! If you're a runner/jogger, this is a trail you might want to check out.

Because Ferry Beach is just awesome!!! They allow dogs on leash year-round, the beach seems to be well-kept, my friends an I love it. Love evening walks on the beach, but not too crowded? This is it!

Drinks & Nightlife
Because it's as unique as you can get. This local place transforms from a restaurant in the day to this awesome place that provides a diverse taste of what OOB has to offer; good people, food, music, live music and oh yes, did I mention, more music? I don't frequent there a lot, but when I do the nightlife scene in OOB, I always stop at The Brunswick.

Because you can't go to Old Orchard Beach and say "I didn't go to the pier!" No way! This historic pier is worth the visit. With a variety of offerings from good food, music, beach, shopping and most of all, the kids would love Palace Playland; New England's only beach-side amusement park.
