Parks & Nature
This is a lovely place - free admission! Boardwalk is about 1-1/4 mile though the cypress swamp. Its cool and quiet and if you go in early morning or late afternoon, you up your chances for spotting wildlife and birds. The boardwalk opens up on overlooks of ponds, etc. We love it!

7751 Penzance BlvdThis is a lovely place - free admission! Boardwalk is about 1-1/4 mile though the cypress swamp. Its cool and quiet and if you go in early morning or late afternoon, you up your chances for spotting wildlife and birds. The boardwalk opens up on overlooks of ponds, etc. We love it!

This is a great Publix - just a couple of blocks away! The bakery is excellent and they have good deli and freshly made sandwiches. There's always a line at lunch time. Try their wonderful cakes (we love the coconut cake) and their key lime pie is pretty close to homemade. Publix ice cream is really good. They also have pharmacy, books & magazines, beer & wine. Open 7am - 10 pm, 7 days a week.
