Really friendly local Turkish kabab place. A Melbourne must. The old guy who owns it is honestly so lovely. I recommend supporting his business if you are craving (the smells are Oh My God) - you'll notice his shop is right in front the #12 tram stop towards the city. Can't miss it.

Cute and very stylish donut stop. Short Stop absolutely pride themselves on creating a very special and unique little cafe stop and do things their way... Do be aware they only use full cream milk for their coffees.
I mean the donuts selection is handmade and amazing and if you are going to the Melbourne Cat cafe around the corner grab one you will be totally charmed by their shop and tasty donuts.

Incredible food and stylish decor. "inspired modern flavours" When designing the place the owner took the designers to Tokyo with them to wet their appetite. I take a friend here when we feel uninspired by life and it picks us up. Highly recommended.

Save the $55-65 Uber ride and use the $15 Sky Bus service. It takes you to Southern Cross Station. And from there get the #12 tram towards St Kilda. Get off at Clarendon & Dorcas Street stop. It's cheaper and honestly just as fast as any Uber/ Taxi. That's just my recommendation.
