We love the carefully preserved character of this natural and human history museum, which was founded in 1882 and now houses over 4 million specimens. Brett grew up going there, it's definitely a nostalgic spot for a lot of locals! Their "Streets of Old Milwaukee" and "European Village" permanent installations are worth the price of admission alone.

Modeled after St. Peter's Basilica, the incredible looking structure includes salvaged materials from the Chicago Post Office and Custom house, which were brought to Milwaukee on 500 railroad flatcars!
