A few years ago, I had this ramen noodle for lunch every two days, because they've got great variety and all service staff members are Japanese - the offering therefore is very authentic. The noodle bowls can also be very healthy if you opt for the vegetable/kimchi/bamboo shoot/egg add-ons for a small fee. The bowls are in the $10 range. The place is near the city hall and all sorts of people dine in.

The Canadian steakhouse de rigueur - as we don't have the better ones like Morton's or Ruth's Chris here! They used to operate a Shore Club seafood and steakhouse in the area but closed it down, probably the market is not right (too expensive, maybe). There's also a location in Granville island and in Richmond ironwood and other parts of Canada. A 20oz T-bone costs about $65.

24/7. Best mocha (dark, milk, Belgian white) / matcha latte in town. More expensive but tastier than Starbucks.
