An interesting apartment complex built for the World Expo 1967, go there to watch some urban surfing and whitewater kayaking on one of Montreal’s permanent waves in the St Laurence river! Bring a picnic for the Parc de la Cité du Havre. Biking there is the ideal plan.

Really nice bike ride along the canal. You’ll see Montrealer’s soaking in the sun, playing frisbee and skating. Make sure to stop at the Atwater Market where you can buy ice cream, eat something and look at local produce.

A forested hill in the middle of the city, don’t miss out great view of Montreal from the “Belvedère”. This park was designed by F.L. Olmsted, who also designed NYC’s Central Park. I work as an environmental educator in this park; so I can tell you lots about it, just ask!
