Kelvingrove Park
6 Professors' SquareBig park, lovely location.
This country park is just fantastic for everything - families, bikes (which you can hire) and there is a lovely café too. It is also the beginning of the West Highland Way. You can take the train from Hyndland to Milngavie - it's around 5 stops and a 15 minute train journey. Great escapism from the city, you really do feel like you're nowhere near the city. Highly recommended if you have time.
