Winter, spring, summer or fall, the views here will not disappoint! It's a great photo opportunity and when it is windy, you can see the waves crashing over the piers. We have seen them so high they crash over the very top of the lighthouse! In summer, the hill down from the lookout leads to one of the best public but secret beaches in the world!

Always take a jacket
It is usually 10 degrees cooler near the lakeshore. Always bring a jacket or sweatshirt. Northwestern Michigan is beautiful in every season. Enjoy!
