One of the main reasons we purchased this home. It's 6 blocks from Lookout Mountain Preserve. One can walk or drive/park there. Lookout Mountain has 17 miles of hiking trails ranging from easy to moderate. From entrance to top of Lookout is about 1.5 miles in and about 650 feet ascend.

One of our favorite hikes! The beginning ascend is challenging but absolutely worth it! Take your time and bring water or a beverage to celebrate when you reach Tom's Thumb!
