This restaurant has excellent seafood. They only serve freshly caught fish; in fact, they do most of the fishing themselves, including diving for scallops.

There are two restaurants here, the "old" Bien, which is a converted old-style pharmacy and has great food, and a snack bar around the corner with the best burgers in Bergen. Walk from downtown Bergen or catch the light rail to "Danmarksplass".

Arts & Culture
The late composer Edvard Grieg's home. Very nice location and it's interesting to walk around the house, which is very well preserved. There is also a concert hall, where they have daily concerts at 13:00 from 18 May to 30 September. The pianists are sometimes world class, so this is definitely worth your time. There is a bus service from the tourist information at 11:00 every day, and this includes the concert + a guided tour. The price is 250 NOK. Highly recommended.

The composer Ole Bull's eccentric and very very special home. It's on an island about 30 minuted from Bergen, and you need to take a mini-ferry to get to the island. Catch the Sunday bus service from the tourist information in Bergen at 11:30. This includes transport, a guided tour, and a concert in the music hall (which is amazing). Highly recommended at 350 NOK.

The old Hanseatic wharf in Bergen: an absolute must-see. Go into the narrow alleys and explore. We got married here in 2014 in the Jacobsfjorden alley, where there is also a highly recommended goldsmith.

The 'old' stave church that was burnt down by a satanist in 1992 and rebuilt a few years later. Very nice location as well, so this is worth a visit combined with a nice walk.

Catch the amazing view from the highest mountain in Bergen. This is practically in our back yard, and we hike/run up the mountain several times a week, all year. You can also get the gondola up or down (or both). This is also the starting pint for the "Vidden" hike from Ulriken to Fløien.
