Tiny store with take out dinners made of veggies grown on the premises and other local fare. Out of the way. You’d never find this place unless you were looking. One of a kind, local gem. Karen, the chef/owner grew up with our daughter. She is passionate about whatever she does. Tell her we sent you.

Sightseeing
B&P is a Vermont treasure that should not be missed. It is a preforming arts collective that was started in the sixies by Peter Shuman, who is still creating art of all kinds at the age of 90. In the summer, the artists put on weekly shows outside in a natural amphitheater on their farm in Glover. These shows are like no other with puppets that can reach over 10 ft tall and require many people to control. Additionally, there is an amazing gallery/museum of these enchanting puppet characters (like the washer women and the janitors) mthat have become Vermont legends for over 6 decades.

The reservoir is 4 miles down the road. It's one of the most beautiful places you will ever see. We have kayaks or a canoe that you can borrow (if you can carry them on your vehicle) for an up close and personal veiw, or you can take a fairly short hike nearby for a veiw of the whole thing.
