Sightseeing
Loch Lomond is a mere 40 minute drive away with amazing beaches, Loch Cruises and great views.
Part of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The surrounding area is home to red deer and oak woodlands. On the eastern shore, footpaths and cycle trails criss-cross craggy Ben Lomond mountain and the smaller Conic Hill: on the western shore, there are wee villages like Luss and walks for people and dogs, together with Cameron House (for seaplane flights) and Duck Bay Marina.

Booking in advance is important for this, and it's a very weather-dependent service. We took the trip around 12 months ago and it's around 45 minutes out towards the Isle of Mull via the hills and mountains around us.
