Beautiful beaches in a state park setting (daily entrance fee). Easy bike ride or drive. Also can catch the ferry over to Caladesi Island. Good facilities to shower, change, or grab a snack or drink. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent for around $20 a day, ending at sunset. There are some rocks just offshore which can be hard to navigate when the tide is low, so I suggest beach shoes. The water is also pretty shallow. Great place for bird watching and walking trails.
