Sightseeing
It sounds odd to tell peeps to drive around a building and park to look at the city. But the view is most spectacular. It was where I landed when I moved to Boston, and I still miss that view.

OMGosh- the meat pies!
Flaky crusted, flavor filled Australian meat pies. The “beef Stew” tastes just like my grandmother’s pot roast.
One of the few places in Eastie with parking.

If you tell a Bostonian that you are in East Boston, they will expect you to eat this pizza. It’s famous- and ... heavy. Last I checked, it was still an all cash establishment. —- and they aren’t conveying any of that cash into the decor.
Frankly, we prefer Nick's Place in Winthrop, but this is a landmark pizza of Boston.

The Tall Ship Boston
1 East Pier DriveThis schooner-turned-club is a hopping place in the summer. Day and night.
A fun young scene, day or night, with lots of music. The ship is the bar and kitchen, and the tables are out on the pier. Paid parking is available, and it is near a water taxi stop that will get you a rid into the city. They will also shuttle you over to their more grown-up, sit-down restaurants, Reel House in Eastie, or Pier 6 in Charlestown.
