A ferry runs from the waterfront below the Old Town (Gamla Stan) and is a fun 10 minute ride across the water to Djurgarden island.
This can also be reached by tram, bus or walking along Swedens most expensive street - Strandvägen. The Abba museum here, also the Vasa museum, Skansen and Gröna Lund (funpark).
Lovely green areas for walking, relaxing, picnics.
