To give you an idea of who you will see, farmers, country folk, locals, tourists and estate workers all going about their day.

Bailiffgate is a wide and tree lined street. Local, farm and estate traffic. Sightseers on foot. The bench outside St Michaels Church is a great place to sit and chat.

City/town information
The A1 south by car. You can also drive or taxi to Alnmouth Station, the southbound carpark is free as it's owned by network rail, the northbound is paid (council owned) charges are very cheap. You can also travel to Newcastle by bus, some superb views along the way, the journey time is about one hour thirty minutes. The city has everything from shopping to food, the arts scene is amazing. Newcastle is also famous for it's night life, it starts early and the trains run until late from Newcastle to Alnmouth. Just remember to book your taxi from Alnmouth.

Walking is the best way.
As the house is in the town, walking is the best way around. If you are your companions require support, the town carpark is a good place to drive (remember to buy a disc from the machine for £1)
