For the Kiddos..
I've probably spent a thousand hours here over the years. It's a solid choice for kids aged 0-7. You'll be blown away by the creativity in each and every room.

Piestewa Peak is the type of mountain that you hike before heading to work. It's easy enough for most hikers, but it's hard enough that you still feel like you've accomplished something when you touch that metal circle at the top. It's easy to access because it's in the middle of the city, and the view is fantastic. Go as early as possible in the hot months and don't forget to pack water :)

This is an Arizona classic. Growing up here, an outing to the Mystery Castle was the ultimate treat. As an adult, it continues to be fascinating to contemplate the reality of building this castle. Tours are offered October-May, and last 30-45 minutes.

This place can be a little pricey, but it's a lot of fun. The food and cocktails are very good. They also have a separate bar area and game room, so you can make a whole night out of it.

This mountain is quite difficult and much-adored by Phoenicians. From the south, the mountain really does resemble a camel laying down in the Phoenix desert. If you do plan to attempt the hike, be sure to plan your parking well, leave early, and pack plenty of water.
