This is our neighbourhood family restaurant. Good menu - everything from (MY FAVOURITE) burgers to steaks, to chicken pot-pies to pastas. Great pie and milkshakes - and their beer is good I'm told. Reasonably priced. They do take-out as well - order online.

The Keg is a steakhouse - and a reasonably pricey one. BUT - the one in our neighbourhood has a nice lounge and good beer and wine menu. The lounge menu (available throughout the restaurant if you ask for it) has decent casual dinner and appie options – and not super pricey.

Peaceful hiking throughout this near-by park. Access off Blenkinsop or Glendenning are my favourite entry points. Glendenning is very accessible gentle walk. More vigorous ones are there as well. Great shade for a hot day.
View from the top (access off Shelbourne Street) is amazing.

A Victoria must. Plan to spend an evening on the Inner Harbour listening to live music, watching the world-class buskers, shopping from local artisans. Bring $5 bills for the buskers - you'll want to reward them I promise.
Thu-Sat is the public market at Ship's point.
Plan to eat at Red Fish Blue Fish (line-up is worth it - check hours) or have drink and pizza at Lido's - or make a reservation at Milestones and sit right in the causeway.
Lots of great restaurants close-by too!
